Natalie Irvine

I was born and raised in Alaska, which isn't exactly where you'd expect to find a Latina falling in love with Salsa and Bachata. But that's exactly what happened. I held onto that connection to my roots even when it didn't quite "fit" the surroundings around me.

I've always been someone who takes risks. A few years ago I moved across the country to Atlanta on a whim, chasing the energy of a bigger city and bigger opportunities. That's where I fell in love with Heels Dancing. But when I went looking for a true beginner class, I found almost none. Most classes assumed you already knew how to move and feel confident in your body.

So I built the class I couldn't find. One that honors my Latin heritage, keeps the door open for people starting from zero, and lets everyone find their own rhythm, whether that's a slow R&B song or dancing full out to reggaeton.
